order delayed - Bean boots


I ordered Bean boots for my daughter on December 2, 2014 for a Christmas present. I was told that they would arrive in March. In February I was informed that the boots would be arriving in April. These delays were annoying, but understandable, considering the popularity of the product. I then called in February to change the order, to change the boot size. I then received an email that the boots would not arrive until June. When I found this out I canceled the order, since, unlike the previous delays, there was no excuse for this, other than the company%u2019s internal protocol.

I have bought many products from L.L. Bean over decades, and I am surprised and disappointed at the company%u2019s poor and indifferent customer service.

I won%u2019t be doing business with L.L. Bean in the future, and will advise friends and family to do the same.
